In Français, we are starting C.F.O.O.
(Le Club Fabuleux des Orateurs et Oratrices)!
This is a public speaking "club" that will help students improve their oral French skills through short presentations.There are nine different presentations, separated into three categories: Research, Opinion and Creativity.
For the first presentation, students must choose one of the three Opinion options. They will then prepare their short oral presentation, fulfilling all of the criteria listed on the page they have in their binder.
For Je préfère, students name and explain five of their favorite things.
For Je déteste, students name and explain five things they dislike.
For J'aimerais, students choose a Would you Rather type of question and explain what their choice would be.
Students should also keep in mind eye contact, volume and expression during their speech. They should be sure to speak only in French and try to add a piece of themselves into their presentation.
